   Enjoyed the veal/lamb pasta and my friend enjoyed her Tuna poke bowl. Service was attentive and friendly, ambience perfect for a Christmas setting.

   We have been going to Glo for years. Over our meals have been great. The halibut and Japanese cabbage was delicious. However, the Buddha bowl was not to my expectations. The menu said grilled chicken as an add on. It came in pieces and overcooked, and tasting like it had been cooked twice. However, the manager came over and addressed our complaint. We appropriated that. Her acknowledgement was very sincere and apologized for the misrepresentation of their menu. Her comment was, that they will change it once new menus come out. We will still keep going to Glo restaurant. The ambiance and being by the water is a bonus.

   Four of us for dinner: there were two good meals and two that were disappointing. Not impressed.

   The ambience and decorations for Christmas were lovely. Our waiter who we have had before and has worked there for three years was excellent.

   Good choices on the menu, nicely prepared brought to the table remarkably quickly (but we were dining on a Monday, still at peak time of day (6:30). The general plan of the restaurant has many tables on by windows with a view of the harbour, those diners not at the window are often in booths that still have nice views out to the harbour. The high ceiling makes the overall feel open and airy, however when busy the atmosphere is lively and not quiet. I have eaten here several times over the years and it is always a great choice for dinner and lunch.

    It’s a great room with an upbeat vibe and a great menu! The servers are so-so, they seem young and naive to the dining process often not realizing people would like to enjoy their meal in courses, so you end up with lots of food arriving at once if you forget to say, “please bring the salad first and then the appetizers… “
