   Booked a table for 2 to celebrate an anniversary as I had heard good things about this place. Though it was noisy due to a couple of larger groups, the ambience was still fine and there were plenty of staff on duty for the small number of guests seated at prime time a week from xmas. We ordered salt and pepper eggplant to begin, which was very good. Then we received our side of eggy rice and watched it go cold for @20-30mins while we waited for our main. Meanwhile we watched a party of 4 next to us, arrive, order and receive several dishes. Because we dared to announce that our side was cold and wanted a warm one by the time the main arrived, the waitress said thats not the way they work and immediately took the side away, leaving us with no choice but to get up and leave, after paying for what we had consumed. The attitude of some staff here is pretty horrible and they should rethink their business model if they want customer satisfaction.

   A lttlle overpriced. We have eaten at Gondola Gondola before and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. This time was a little disappointing. We ordered the Chargrilled Wagyu Rump and the Grilled Squid Salad. They were both nice, but would have enjoyed them much more if the Rump and Squid was at least warm? I understand it was a salad, but everything was cold. Service was only ok - rather than both meals coming out together, they came two minutes apart. Probably will not be back in a hurry!

   The food, drinks are so amazing here and we had a wonderful experience at Gondola Gondola. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are very generous too! Would definitely recommend :)

   Excellent food, with plenty of gluten free options which is crucial for our group. Very attentive staff. Great spot for a pre-theatre dinner

   We had the eggplant fritter as an entree, squid salad and fish of the day as mains then finished off with some ice cream. Eggplant fritter appeared to be favourites on other tables in the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Both squid salad and fish of the day (barramundi) were on point. Excellent meal overall.

    It was unfortunate that the Resturant had run out of 3 of the 4 dishes we wanted to order, especially on a Saturday night. Restaurant is very loud and difficult to talk to anyone on your table.
