   We have gone here for the last 3 years for the Christmas set menu it didn't disappoint and was lovely as always. The staff were friendly and I would recommend this restaurant I have been many times and the food is always great quality.

   Well run restaurant with friendly and professional staff. Choice of menu changes seasonally with generous portions. Always enjoy going to this neighbourhood restaurant.

   As always had a very pleasant meal here last night. Lovely casual dining with friendly staff. Atmosphere is great as well. Food is fine. It’s not trying to be cutting edge just tasty bistro style food. Maybe portions could be a bit more generous but I know margins are very tight these days. Will definitely be returning soon.

   The food was gorgeous. The menu has changed so we found it harder to make our choices. Staff were lovely but forgot our water for the table so we asked again. The restaurant wasn’t that busy for a Saturday night and lacked ambience. The noise level was very high so we found it hard to hear each other. Atmosphere needs to be improved and noise level reduced.

   We were a group of 13 and booked at short notice for a 1 o'clock visit. We were assigned an area to ourselves and received excellent service. From the 3 different menu's available we ordered a wide range of dishes, some from the daily specials, some from the Christmas Set Menu and some from the standard menu. Everybody was happy with their meals as served by very helpful staff. Prices were reasonable and everyone was happy.

   What a fabulous place to eat. The whole decor of the restaurant is beautiful. The food was amazing and the staff were amazing. So overall an amazing experience.

    Plus Beetroot and goat's cheese salad was fantastic The service was excellent - very attentive and very friendly Minus The chicken in the caesar salad was tough (it seemed to have been pre-cooked) Charged 2.75 for two slices of poor quality bread and poor quality butter I have eaten here before and had a very positive experience. Despite the minuses, I highly recommend GFP and I will be back
