   Fun and easy and beautiful. DELICIOUS!! The pistachio crusted halibut was “out of this world wonderful!!!! Wait staff on top of everything! Outside garden area a beautiful treat.

   Great ambience, foodand service was outstanding. Water never ran dry and never had to ask. We orderedabottle of wine and never had to touch the bottle when out glasses ran low. Our server took care of all pours without having to be asked.

   This was my fourth visit to Grapefruit Basil and I was very disappointed in the time it took to get our food and the quality of the food we were served. We waited almost thirty minutes for our pre dinner cocktails, and 90 minutes for our food to be served. The Halibut was warm and good but not outstanding as it had been on our previous visit. Two of the people in our party had the Scallop dish and it was lukewarm. Our server did a great job too bad the kitchen could not keep up. Definitely not the experience I enjoyed on previous visits.

   This is a nice restaurant with a lovely outdoor patio and good food. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. We waited 30 minutes for our cocktail order, and the signature drink was room temperature. Then we waited another hour for our dinner to arrive, and when it did, they told us that 2 of the 4 never got entered in their system. So 2 of us finished our dinner before the other 2 entrees arrived. Management was very apologetic and comped our meal, so that was appreciated. However, the level of service was so bad that we will never return.

   Overall, it was just OK. There were four if not, five bartenders behind the bar and it took way too long to get our initial drink. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy.  The food was all right, but I found the menu to be very limited in the bar.

   We went for Valentines Day...earliest reservation was 7:30. We arrived early and thought we would have a drink at the bar before being seated. Restaurant was about 50% full. They seated us immediately outside on the patio which was nice. There was an acoustic guitar player playing and the patio wasn't full at all. We ordered a drink and then dinner. The restaurant had a price special menu for the evening with only 5 entrees to select from. Shortly after ordering I was told they had run out of my item (Halibut). I selected another item, which I wasn't thrilled about. Our salads arrived shortly there after then it all stopped. We waited over an hour during which no one came to us at all. The guitar player stopped at 8pm, all other diners left, even those arriving after us. Never saw our waiter. Around 9pm we called the front desk and were told the restaurant was closed - and we asked for someone to come out to us ALONE on the patio to give us our check. We did not eat. The manager came out and was apologetic but NO....We will never return. We offered to pay for our drinks and salad, but they did not charge us.

    IT'S WAY OVER PRICE FOR QUALITY AND POTIONS POOR SERVICE FROM ALL STAFF Very poor service. No silverware when main course was served. One dinner order was wrong. Sent it back and ask to bring right order. Paid $223.00 for two SMALL salad and two SMALL fish dinner. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.
