   We have been going to Greensleeves for over 20 years. It is usually a special treat for us when we go due to the cost. This time we went for my wife’s birthday celebration with family from out of town. We had booked this restaurant and another local restaurant which we could have gotten into earlier ( the earliest we could book here was 7:30). But we chose to go here because on their website it said Thursday was the date night special and because of the history of this restaurant in Redlands, well I guess we didn’t read the fine print. When we showed up and asked about the special they informed us that due to Valentine’s Day ( which was the next day) the specials were not going to be honored for the week. We decided to stay since now It was almost 8:00. Oh, when we arrived on time our table was not ready and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered the ahi nachos which were by far the best thing we ate. We then had the wedge salad which was sub par. For the main course we had the ribeye and the filet mignon which both I found to be extremely overpriced. I thought we were still in Redlands not transported to LA or San Francisco? The ribeye was ok but not great and the filet mignon was probably the smallest piece of meat I’ve seen in a long time. In the future we will avoid this restaurant for any special occasion and after this experience I think it will be hard to even come here for any of the nights when they normally have the specials. Lesson learned read the fine print or call ahead when the deal seems to real to be true.

   Made reservations as it was the day before Valentine’s Day and it was supposed to be date night special. I looked on the website and Instagram to confirm that the menu will be available. No where in the site did it say valentines menu the entire week so no daily specials. It was raining down pretty hard that day as well so it was disappointing that we could not have the special and I was looking forward to the meal. We ended up leaving.

   Beautiful decor. Went for hubby and I Annv. They had a sweetheart menu. Highly recommend.

   Amazing salmon, asparagus, and coffee! Lovely ambience! Have not been to Greensleeves for years, and will be returning more frequently!

   Food, while pricey, was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection. Service was great, friendly wait staff.

   The food was delicious but the service was bad even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all so never again going back for that service with these prices!

   We’ve dined here dozens of times over the years because their steaks are amazing. However, the past few times the service has been mediocre at best. We’ve gotten the wrong entree, experienced extremely slow service, and last night we were seated for 30 minutes before getting the beverages we ordered when we sat down. Again, the steaks were amazing but service and timing issues unfortunately killed the vibe, and our special occasion was never even acknowledged. I’m no expert, but it seems to me that they are understaffed and overworked. We’ll try them another time in a few months because we love their food, but it might be time to find another go to spot for us. Disappointing.

   We loved it. Steaks were cooked exactly how we requested! The server made great suggestions. They had live music on the 2nd floor (where we were seated) and it was a nice add. We will go again!
