   I think they were overwhelmed and unprepared for a Saturday night. I have been here many times, last two experience’s have been the worst. The staff is always nice but I think management is lacking. Sometimes growth can be a challenge. I am not sure the have handled it well.

   Service was slow I ordered steak medium and it was rare. Never came back to ask. Finally at the end came back with the check. I told them my steak was rare. Said he could cook it again I said to late everyone was done with their meal. Nothing else was done or apologized.

   First time here. Heard great things so had high expectations. Unfortunately, these were not met. The food was hit and miss. The prine rib was delicious and seasoned well. The NY Mushroom Risoto was just okay. The steak was cut up into small pieces and drowned in tasty brown gravy. The menu described the risoto as “creamy.” I found it to be dry if not for the gravy; almost crunchy. The service was quite bad, which ruined the dining experience. The waiter was pleasant but inattentive. He checked with us once to see if our food was okay. Then he never made sure our water glasses were refiilled or noticed that we had used up all our flatware after the first course. I had to ask for more water and for additional forks and knives. This was sub-Denny’s service (with apologies to Denny’s). The service made a special occasion not very memorable. Too bad. I had expected better.

   My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Gregory’s last night. We have been a couple of times since the renovation and have not been disappointed. The whole evening was very enjoyable. The portions of food are very generous. We both had the Prime Rib and it was cooked to perfection and the service was spot on. Definitely a will do again soon!

   We always enjoy our meals at Gregory’s. It was a little loud last night due to some men that were seated at the bar behind us. I will ask to be seated on the other side next time.

   Missed the mark by a mile! We were really excited after Gregory's remodeled. The first time we went in there it was impeccable! Absolutely 5 star. We've been to Gregory's'twice since. All I have to say is they may have new furniture but the old Gregory's back minus the frozen slice of stale carrot cake they used to offer for dessert for the early bird special. The early bird special is a wonderful value with a well cocktail or glass of wine, soup or salad, entrée and dessert for $45. The well alcohol is the absolute bottom of the barrel which I personally find a little tacky for "5 Star". Smirnoff vodka really? You can't even do Titos or Sky? Your cosmopolitan is made with all bottom shelf well alcohol but charged $16 premium drink "we consider that a martini" TACKY. There was something wrong with our server. His demeanor was so off. My sister, friend, and I kept waiting for him to start rubbing his hands together and laugh, a sinister laugh. Really Creepy and he wasn't a very good server either. Is there an executive chef or chef de cuisine or just line cooks? The New York trip w/risotto looked like they put a ramekin of dry bland risotto on middle plate and poured a can of chunky dog food with beef gravy around it and tasted exactly how you would expect canned dog food to taste. My salmon was overcooked, hard on the top like it had been under the lights too long. The last time I was there, it was undercooked. My sister ordered the prime rib. It was perfectly cooked, but completely lacked any real flavor. At least our dogs ate well. This was a very special celebration. Gregory's knew it but no one acknowledged what we were celebrating and yes, they knew. My brother-in-law ate at Gregory's every year for his birthday. He died February 22 this year and we were there to celebrate the first birthday since passing. This one was personal. I'm seriously hurt and pretty salty about it. The lack of acknowledgement made the poor food/service worse.

   Dining was great. We went for our 45th anniversary. Prime rib with spectacular mashed potatoes were great. The tower beat salad is amazing. Service was wonderful as well.
