Went for a 15 February Valentine’s Day dinner. Bartender and bar drinks were great. Limited menu due to Valentine’s Day weekend which we didn’t know until sitting at our table. Crab cake was fantastic. The $18 salad was six sprigs of lettuce with some Parmesan. Aged ribeye was forgettable and creamy spinach came out cold. No baked potato on the menu this day which was something the wife and I wanted. No oysters available for an appetizer either. I recommend going to the bar for happy hour drinks and the crab cake. Other than that, there are better options in Gaslamp.

I don't recommend going here for Wagyu. It's extremely overpriced for what you get. I ordered 6oz of the Japanese Wagyu and had about 2oz of a fat cap on the end of my piece which was inedible. The lobster was also undercooked, and our waitress was very aggressive which made us feel uncomfortable.

The service was painfully slow. The food is way over priced and average at best. I went on Valentines night and I know they were busy but it took fifteen minutes after I was seated to get a waiter. The lobster tail I ordered was delivered with and empty shell and I had to ask several times for the shell cracker for the crab legs and butter dip. The wine refill again I had to ask for multiple times. Not a good experience almost laughable. I would of had better food at Outback for a fraction of the cost

We were charged $215 dollars on Valentines day for 3 bites of an appetizer (that tastes ok at best), an incredibly underwhelming ravioli, honestly a pretty decent shortrib, and then 2 desserts we did not finish because they just weren't that good. Also had to remind our waiter 3 different times after we sat down that we were ready to order. This place might be good any other day, but do not go on valentines day.

For starters our reservation was at 7pm. Got there 5 mints til and we waited til 7:21 to be seated. Next was our waiter. He asked if we were ready to order drinks yet had no drink menu. He either didn’t hear me say we didn’t have one or just thought I said we weren’t ready….but never got a wine/cocktail menu the next table actually gave us theirs. Then he came back with only one menu and still not a drink menu. When it came to ordering we asked for sautéed spinach and we were brought creamed spinach. Waiter checked on us maybe twice.

Service was horrible. We were only given one of the two available menus for the night. When we asked our server Michael f there were others he said no. We weren’t ask if we wanted drinks after the first ones were served. My steak was ordered medium but came way overcooked. My desert was a keylime cheesecake with fresh berries. When I received the dessert it was just the plain cheesecake. When we told our server it was supposed to have berries he replied “no, I don’t think so.” I’ll never dine or recommend this place again.

My experience was terrible. The menu i was given, didn’t even have a steak on it. I had reservations for a table upstairs, and was sat downstairs. There was no room, you can tell they cared more about profit than the customer experience, there were 100 tables crammed into one room. The service was terrible, I had the wrong meal approach my table 5 times. I had to send my steak back, because it was cooked poorly. My water and wine glass took 20 minutes to be refilled. I also heard and spoke with several others who were upset with the same things. Terrible terrible experience, will not be returning.

My water glass stayed empty for 25 minutes while tables in the walkway were refilled numerous times.

They would not honor the price of $49.95 per person that we booked Said they were not serving that menu. Our reservation was accepted for that price. It ended up costing $218.00. Very disappointing. Being seniors who budget everything, it was beyond our means. Will not return to that restaurant.
