My wife and I have been going to Grill23 since the night I proposed which is over 23 years ago. It has never disappointed. Everything from the hostess, bussers, servers, sommelier and cooks has always been amazing. Thank again for another wonderful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill 23 for a Valentine’s dinner, and overall, it was an experience to remember. To start, the Norwegian crab was the star of the evening. We opted for it warm, and it was absolutely delicious—sweet, tender crab meat paired perfectly with rich, melted butter. A simple, but indulgent dish. The steak frites was another highlight—juicy, perfectly cooked, and served with crispy fries that complemented the steak beautifully with delicious béarnaise sauce. The Kobe cap steak was divine—so tender and full of flavor, it was easily one of the best bites of the night. The asparagus and mushrooms were lovely sides. The oysters, unfortunately, didn’t quite hit the mark. They didn’t taste as fresh as I would have hoped, which was a bit of a disappointment. Additionally, there was a bit of a delay in our first round of drinks arriving, so much so that by the time we got our martinis, they were room temp—definitely not ideal. However, the evening was saved by the PX affogato, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The combination of sweet sherry and vanilla ice cream with candied almonds was a delightful finish to our Valentine’s dinner. Despite a couple of small missteps, the overall meal was fantastic, and I would certainly return to enjoy the highlights again.

The steak was phenomenal. That being said, It took our server 15 minutes to ask us what we’d like to drink. In addition, got our appetizers before receiving our drinks, which was unacceptable.
