   The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I was surprised that the menu was really small and there wasn't a lot of choices on it anymore. That was the only disappointing part.

   Poor overall. Bread was hard as a rock. Could not cut into it with a knife. Server kept coming to table numerous times asking if we needed something. Kept interrupting us. Very annoying. The pasta was overcooked ie., crispy. I could not eat it. Mgr. Brought a small dish of pasta to the table that appeared to have some oil on it rather than a sauce. Only 3-4 tables had patrons on a Fri. Night. This restaurant has serious issues. Menu is poor. They have a bigger wine list than the food list. The restaurant needs to close if they cannot do better.

   The overall experience was very good. Food was what you'd expect from Grotto's. Our waiter was excellent and went beyond our expectations. My only "complaint" is minor. If you dine when the sun is low in the west, it pours in and is harsh. Ask for a table out of the sun's path or wait until it sets. The place would benefit from sunshades for the hour or so.

   Manager Chris always ensures we have our preferred table and seats us right away. Waiter Jordan is phenomenal!. His attention to detail and remembering what we like (and dislike) is invaluable. We always make a point to stop at Grotto on our visit to the Nugget because of Jordan! Thank you, Chris and Jordan!

   Food and drinks were great. Service was good. My only complaint was at 530 dinner, the sun coming thru the windows was blinding!

    Our waiter and waitress was amazing. We came in New Year’s Eve with an 8 o’clock reservation. I didn’t care for the selections of wines by the glass, but both the waiter and the waitress were so accommodating and went across to Vic and Anthony’s and got me a split of Frank Family. I was very happy to know we could do that. That really impressed me and I appreciated their catering to my needs. I will definitely be back!!!! I have been there many times, but I’ll always come back!!
