Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Their New York Strip is not good. They cut it like a filet so the flavor of NYStrio is lost Also use a bbq sauce which was not on the menu

First off the service is amazing here. Our waiter, Johnathon, made the meal more amazing. He took care to point out vital aspects of the menu, highlighting dishes he recommended, and was patient with our questions. You can tell the people who work here take pride in their place of employment and have actually tasted their food. My husband and I tried the cod, which was recommended by our waiter, and the scallops. The cod was impeccable. It had a flaky soy sauce crust and a moist and properly cooked inside. I usually don’t go out of my way to order cod but this was well worth it. The scallops were equally as good.
