Our server Jaymee was so attentive. He anticipated our needs and was very friendly and polite. The bus boys were also quick and courteous. The food was excellent. The lychee mojito was also good. We will definitely come back and try the wagyu next time.

An overall very good experience. The food was good. I found out the difference between Japanese BBQ and Korean BBQ in the lack of sides. We were a large party so maybe contributed to some of the noise but we were in a back area with 2 other (small) groups and they were pretty quiet. My one complaint was that I told them 2 kids had a shellfish allergy so they brought miso soup. I was pretty annoyed to find out it had fish broth and seaweed. She said I said shellfish not seafood so I guess that’s on me.

Loved the Chef’s choice of menu with a great variety of meats, shrimp, salad and soup to fill the hungriest guests. Great server, knowledgeable, kind and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant could use some remodeling but an overall very positive experience. Will definitely add to our “go to” places. Thank you Gyu-Kaku!

Food was excellent. Service was good , but they were very busy because of course it was NYE and they were packed and out of stock on many things. Only bad part was bathrooms - water was everywhere in the bathroom.

The front area with several tables for two is overcrowded. The food and service were both good, but the table was uncomfortable and didn’t have enough space.

What a mess. We booked our holiday dinner well in advance. Arrived to be taken to a roomy space but was told the previous party was having issues with the grill but they had fixed and to let them know if we experience any issues. Well, 20 mins into the dinner the flame went out. After sitting around at our table for another 20 mins while they tried to fix they said we would be moved. Another wait and we are taken to a much smaller table where they had added a chair to try and squeeze us in. Absolutely no room at the table for all our dishes. I asked the manager how can we possibly make this work? He said it’s a busy holiday and there is no room for us. We just tried to cook as quickly as possible to make room. Here is what should have happened…they should have never sat us at a table where the grill was not working properly instead of them crossing their fingers and hoping for the best. It would have been better for us to wait for a table that was working. Instead, our holiday dinner with visiting relatives was ruined. The manager removed some drinks and dessert. I quite frankly do not care about any discount. We just wanted to have a nice dinner.
