   We were the third table in the whole restaurant when we got there, but waited over an hour to get our meat. And this was not all you can eat. We simply were waiting for our a la carte meat. Waiters are nice but don’t believe them when they say it will just be five more minutes. Each five minutes turns into half hour or more. They can’t keep straight what we still have to be delivered. We had way better experiences at Korean BBQ restaurants etc. Faster turnaround on food and more quantity else where. Having said that the meat was good. But not for the value. Salad was too salty.

   My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant, it has been a family favorite since 2017. Every time we come we always order several meats, garlic fried rice and at least 3-5 different appetizers. We have 3 kids so we always order a ton and with happy hour the price is great. Our server was amazing, he was very attentive and very kind to my kids (some servers don’t even acknowledge kids) but he was friendly and just on top of it all. Over all the food was delicious and service was a 10/10, would 100% come back to this location!

   Grill was too hot couldn’t cook properly. Food wasn’t as good as previous visits . Rice & noodles were bland .

   We had high hopes for our special Mother's Day celebration at this restaurant, choosing their multi-course meal option. Unfortunately, the service didn't meet our expectations. Despite our excitement, there were significant delays in receiving our food, leaving us feeling let down by the overall organization of the dining experience. It appeared that there were some issues with preparation, possibly exacerbated by a shortage of staff. While waiting for the main courses, we made do with drinks, myself having consumed 4 glasses of coke and some plain rice, unexpectedly filling us up. Regrettably, we had to leave before having the chance to enjoy the much-anticipated highlight of the meal, Gyu-Kaku's beef BBQ. This experience left us feeling like we had wasted both our time and money. It certainly wasn't the memorable Mother's Day experience we had hoped for.

   I’ve been to theee different gyu kaku locations across the world and this location was by far the worst experience , this was my second time going to this location to try to give it a chance but u won’t be going there again , I’d rather drive farther and go to San Mateo

   I would first like to say the food was amazing and the service was great but when we got there, they said that they did not have much control over their OpenTable relationship and they tended to overbook those reservations and therefore we need to wait 15 to 20 minutes. This was troublesome because we had four-year-olds in our group and it was terrible with no place to sit or wait. I question how this restaurant is managing their OpenTable reservations. If you think you’re gonna have a certain time, they are not gonna respect that.

   I took my GF here for date day and man was this a hit! She loved all the different options and sides! Our waiter was new so he was a bit slow but when another waiter noticed us looking for him he took right over! The drinks were bomb and portions were perfect! Will definitely be going back!

   Coming from someone who used to be a server, this was just all bad. Had a reservation, waited 30 minutes for server to take our order, it took asking 3 different servers over the course of 20 minutes to get a refill, kept making eye contact with manager who just ignored us and leisurely wiped down menus, and it seemed like they were giving their attention to the larger parties. Be prepared to fight for your life trying to flag someone down and put in a request for something as simple as a straw. It’s like we would ask for something and the server would just disappear or clock out? Food was good, but the poor service definitely ruined the experience… I noticed dinner crew was a lot more on top of their tables, thus we were willing to give our tip to them, but by then, there wasn’t much that could be salvaged. If you wanna try this out, do yourself a favor and just drive out to San Jose or Cupertino.

    The food was outstanding and great service. We already have a scheduled reservation coming up and most likely end up with AYCE.
