The set meal menu was not the best and the food was cold not just for me and my partner but two friends who had there table next to ours as well. We went to McDonalds after our £175 meal …

First time visiting Habibbi in Leeds the vibes and atmosphere were brilliant the service was good took abit of time to get the attention of staff as they were busy with it being a Saturday night! The music was abit too loud so couldn’t really have a conversation with my friends without shouting! There was a live DJ who did play some great tunes towards the end of his set..the belly dancers weren’t really our cup of tea but suppose they added somewhat to the ambience of the place. The food was decent starters were tiny but mains better and mocktails were good! They didn’t have the dessert dish that I wanted the dubai chocolate cake so we opted for a couple of the other desserts one tasted like it was still abit frozen on the inside..we didn’t try the sheesha as didn’t fancy the idea of sitting outside in early February although maybe next time when it’s nicer time of year etc..overall a great place to tick off the bucket list! Doorman Mo was very helpful and took some photos of us in front of the flower wall and humoured my friend somewhat with his photography skills!

We booked Habbibi for mine and my husbands joint birthday weekend as a special treat. What a night it was! Very attentive staff, buzzing atmosphere, dancers and the best meal we've had in a long time. The menu is at the higher end price wise and it was worth every single penny. We couldn't recommend it more. Definitely worth a visit for a special occasion!

If a restaurant with mediocre food, inattentive service and a DJ booth is your vibe, You’ll love it.

Cold environment so food went cold very quickly - £18 for what we thought would be a few small bao buns but it was 1…1 bao bun with some shredded beef for £18 is ridiculous Also got a spring roll (singular) £13 - silly Wagyu sirloin was nice I’d say & what you’d expect to pay but I won’t be going back based on food & service was just service doesn’t warrant the service charge which I did pay

The portions were disappointingly small. For example, the grilled jumbo prawns dish came with just two prawns, and the couscous served alongside it didn’t taste like authentic couscous, especially from the perspective of someone from North Africa. On a positive note, the lamb borek, kabsa rice, and Irish wagyu were flavorful, but again, the portion sizes were small. Service charges of 12.5% are automatically added to the bill, which is fine, but I found it cheeky that the waitress tried to prompt us to add extra tips on the card machine on top of the already-included amount. When making the reservation, I mentioned it was for a birthday as the restaurant asked, but unfortunately, nothing special was done to acknowledge the occasion. In other establishments, it’s common for the staff to offer a small gesture, like a slice of cake or even a simple "happy birthday," but this was not the case. The restaurant was quiet that evening, so it’s hard to understand why the staff couldn’t make a small effort to celebrate.

My wife wanted to go there and it was okay . Food portions were so small if we compare it to other restaurants. They charged us 160 quid for 2 people but I feel they could do better with wagyu and lamb rolls . Chicken steak was small but nice . Mocktails were good as well . 3.5/5 for me as they are offering smaller portions but charging to much for them .

I’ve seen this place on social media and it looked fabulous! We decided to go for my partners birthday, well it was nothing but disappointing! We waited 20 minutes to be asked for a drink to start with! We ordered our food the starters were delicious, however the main courses was not! When you was spending £40 on a steak you expected it to be good? I order the lobster ravioli, it came I only had 2 ravioli on my plate! WOW! And the chops were cold and the mac and cheese was vile. We had to keep asking for drinking, the waiter were lovely! However the management in suits were stood around chatting and not interacting with us. I wouldn’t mind if it was busy but there was just us 2 and another table! When the bill came the tip was nearly £20 when I asked for it to be removed they wasn’t happy! The final bill was £133 I would have got better service and food at a spoons!
