Great addition to Mexican cuisine in Melbourne. Good location, excellent food, wonderful service staff. A bit pricey, but this is not tex-mex. Only issue - it’s noisy. We came to eat and talk with friends, as you do when have a meal. We go to pubs or concerts halls when we want to hear music. We had to ask for the quite loud music to be turned down - twice, after another staffer turned it back up. It might also help the great staff understand what we were ordering if they could hear easily over the music as well and not requiring us to talk like teachers in front of 30 noisy kids.

Delicious food that was great value, we had the mega banquet ($85) because I wanted the bone marrow - all the plates were full of flavour and well presented, we were well and truly replete. We told the waiter we needed to be out in time for a theatre show and they were really accommodating and sped up the delivery of food. Service was attentive and friendly, great experience overall.

“Real” Mexican food -every course delicious , but it would be helpful if the menu made some mention of the level of heat (chiles) in each dish. Level of music on terrace too loud to carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. I suppose some people like this, but our group of four did not.

Nothing was terrible and nothing was all that good. A good try at authentic Mexican but authentic Mexican is almost impossible to find in Melbourne.

Couldn't fault any of the dishes as the were all great. They all had exceptional flavour and just enough spice / kick without being OTT. Staff were very attentive and personable / friendly. One guest wasn't a fan of the tequila used in the Margarita (personal choice). Unfortunately is was going alcohol free that night so would have liked a broader range (i.e. more than 1) of AF beers (preferably something Mexican - I know I've seen at least one). Will be back there to while away a pleasant summer night.

The atmosphere was lovely, but the food and service was average. We had to remind them twice that we ordered guc, then they never came over to see if we needed another drink and forgot to bring over the pollo too. My dish the ceviche was overly hot, I love Mexican, but this was too spicy and couldn’t taste the seafood. What was most annoying was the fact the guy when I paid said that same dish I found too hot another table loved… I don’t really care for comments like that as we all have our own experience and mine wasn’t good. The wine was a nice selection. They kinda crowded around me when tip came up on eftpos machine and felt I had to tip, so I did 5% but really shouldn’t have. Just felt the pressure. Apparently my friend said the pollo was good.

Party of 10 today and was as fantastic as usual. Outside on the balcony was beautiful 😍 Food and cocktails never fail to please. Come and try 😏 😉 😋
