   First, the online menu thru open table is not the menu in the restaurant. They only serve 4 inch long hand rolls at a bar. The rolls themselves were very good but the way they fulfill orders is very inefficient. It took us 1.5 hrs to receive 6 completed hand rolls. They seem to make one from each order at a time rather than completing one full order. So, you get one hand roll, wait 15-20 min for the next one and so on. Also, I had wanted to take some to go home to my daughter and they would not let me because they said they did not do take out after 5 pm. So I went around that and ordered 2 extra rolls, didn’t eat them and asked for a container to take them home. It was a very expensive night for very little food and long waits between rolls. The food was excellent. The implementation of the concept needs some work.

   Second time visiting, and we love it. We tell the chef it’s chef surprise and house roulette with what they want to make. The attention to detail and flavors are amazing. We love that you feel comfortable but know fresh incredible food is coming your way.

   Menu is pretty limited. Handrolls had various types of fish but there wasn’t much more in each roll other than fish and rice. We did have one roll that had some vegetables and fresh herbs in it and that was our favorite by far because it had some variety for the pallet. This may be intentional and I may just not be familiar with this style of food but each hand roll was served individually so we would eat one and then wait a few minutes for the next roll. We had one chef in charge of preparing rolls for 6 guests. Our server had to be asked each time we wanted a drink refill. The fish is extremely fresh. Price was on the higher end with 12 handrolls costing $140 with tip.

    As always, a perfect meal. We enjoyed the wonton tacos, crispy rice, Norwegian salmon sashimi and salmon and spicy tuna hand rolls. All were super fresh and full of flavor and great textures. Service was seamless -- attentive without being intrusive. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.
