Servers were very nice and food was good. We really liked two out of the three rolls we ordered. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Really delicious and fresh nigiri sushi. Uni! The sushi rolls and tonkatsu ramen were excellent too. The music level is low enough to have a conversation without trouble. Staff were very friendly and helped our children with chopstick trainers. Overall, a great sushi spot!

Food was good but it was over an hour before they even started making our rolls. When we asked for updates they just asked us to keep waiting

My new favorite sushi restaurant! Wonderful variety and deliciously fresh. Much less hectic than trendier sushi places in La Jolla.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. It is better than Sushi Ota. They have an incredible Avocado Heart - a whole avocado stuffed with crab and crunch and heated. It is INCREDIBLE!! The teriyaki shrimp was crisp and light and tasty. The sexy roll was spicy without being too hot and all the fish was fresh and sweet. We finished with the eel sushi which had a huge serving of eel and was perfectly seasoned. I cannot tell you how pleasent our dinner was - quiet - prompt service. Just MARVELOUS!

Happy to return to a consistently excellent dining experience. Service is prompt and friendly. But, mostly the quality fish and delicious details make Haru superb. Try the sashimi sampler. Also, Haru Sushi has an array of the standard rolls along with innovative new ones.
