This place is problematic. First, the table wasn’t ready for our reservation. Once we were seated, it took quite a while for anyone to come to the table for service. We ordered drinks and appetizers, and they got the appetizer order wrong. Then -and a big beware on this one - they do not list all ingredients for dishes on their menu, including some allergens. One member of our party ordered an item that appeared free of her allergen, but when it arrived, she couldn’t eat it. They would NOT take this off the bill, and did not offer to replace it with something else. Finally, there was live music the night we were there. Not that I mind music at dinner, but this needs to be rethought - a big swing and a miss from a customer experience point of view. The music was so loud you could not have a conversation at your table. This demonstrates a fundamental lack of understanding as to why people go out to dinner together in the first place. It isn’t to sit silently at the table because they can’t talk to each other. The loud music also made it hard to hear the waitress and vice versa. So overall I would NOT recommend this place. Poor experience, slow, inaccurate service, loud as hell, and dangerously casual about food allergies.

Definitely need more help. We waited 40+ min for our waitress. Food came within 15 min drinks didn’t come until 30+ min after food. Sadly need more staff.

I have been there before and I am a recurring customer at the one in Westbury. I was disappointed with the food distribution. We ordered appetizers and drinks then ordered the entrees not 5 minutes after receiving our appetizers the food came out giving us no time to make space for our food meanwhile not finished with the apps we scrambled and turned the table. Also, our steaks were to over cooked for medium well though our waitress was good the food experience was not. You need to give your customers time to finish before bringing out the orders.

The experience was amazing, all of my friends, including myself, enjoyed the food, the presentation of the plates, and how well everything was made. The only thing was that the nachos were very salty, other than that, we had no issues.

It's in a great location near Times Square. The restaurant has a nice layout and has a great vibe. The drinks are outstanding. I ordered an appetizer (which I never received) and a main course (Vaca Frita). My meal was okay. The meat was dry and lacked any flavor and the fried egg over the rice was like rubber. Not great. Our sides: maduros and tostones were great. The tres leches desert was delicious.
