   Been dying to try this place and finally went for the first time last night! It definitely lived up to the expectations! Everything we ate was amazing especially the pork chop! Can’t wait to go back

   Nice place. Server & bartender were good guys. Food was ok but nothing special to write about. My complaint is the liquor prices were that of a high class New York City restaurant, way too high, especially for East Rockaway. A Grey Goose martini $22 & a Bullet Old Fashion $19. Here’s the kicker, the next day I looked at the bill & we got charged for a Beleveder $23. No one had a Beleveder. All the other liquor was accounted for. The four of us will probably not return.

   My wife and I had dinner on a Sunday evening. It was nice because the noise level was low. Haviland has done a good job of expanding the menu selection in the few years since it opened. There was a wide selection of appetizers, some sandwiches (hand heads) and main dishes. The prices for most selections was reasonable although a bit pricey for the steak and pork chop. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we definitely plan to return soon

    The entire staff were pleasant and informative about the menu and specials . Very attentive to every detail of the birthday dinner that was being celebrated. Noise level was low great music excellent Bartender Dan, Host and waitress Pat.
