   During our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebration, we visited the Marriott Vacation Club Resort - Calls. While the service was satisfactory and the location offered a picturesque view, I felt that the overall experience was underwhelming. Expectations for a Marriott Vacation Club Resort are typically elevated and spectacular, especially considering the pricing of the menu. Unfortunately, the culinary offerings fell short of expectations. The honey buttered rolls were stale, while the coconut shrimp was exceptional. The truffle fries were okay. The ahi tuna steak was arguably the best dish of the evening. Overall, the resort provided a suitable dining experience, but I am uncertain whether I would return unless faced with a compelling alternative.

   We are here at the Christmas Eve buffet tonight and I would not ever do it again. It was expensive. The food was sub par at best. The options were limited and the prime rib portions were the smallest/thinnest portion of prime rib I’ve ever experienced. Imagine thinly sliced roast beef. That’s what they were handing out. The dessert was horrible. If you’re going to charge me $109/person it better be a great meal. This was anything but. There was no mention by the server that the normal menu was an option, which I would have definitely done for my two kids. They were charged $55 each for essentially a scoop of rice and a bread roll bc they wouldn’t eat anything else. I was really looking forward to this meal and trying to do something special for my family. I walked away spending $500 and feeling really disappointed.

   We had a wonderful Christmas Eve buffet at the resort. Great service-accommodating to our picky kids-awesome waitress!!! Perfect way to spend the evening outside under the stars with an awesome duo for entertainment.

   The food was absolutely delicious, and the music created such a wonderful atmosphere! Pair that with outstanding service, and you have the perfect night out. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

   Amazing. Seafood pasta Alfredo was the special and it was crazy good. Peach and Jennie made my dining experience that much more special.

    The food was delicious. The only one suggestion I'd make is to please provide more food covers for the food that's openly displayed as there were a lot of FLYS. This turned us off as we were hesitant in eating anything open. However, the staff, live music, and ambiance of it all made up for it.
