   The food and service was great, and we had a fabulous time at Hawksmoor Air Street. But the dining space is huge with so many tables packed closely together and no soft furnishings to dampen the cacophony of noise. Great for parties & groups, less ideal for chatting or older relatives. Our steaks were all sublime and great cocktails.

   I love the restaurant but it took an hour and twenty minutes before we got out meal That was too long to wait

   I have been to hawksmoor many times, sadly this visit was disappointing. The fillet steak I order was very fatty. Not what you expect for the price of it. The service was very slow. It was extremely busy though and the team were polite when they did get around to serving you.

   30mins to get drinks and bread. Inattentive waitress. 20mins to get the bill. The steak was OK but there are much better steak restaurants in London. Won't visit again

   We had a celebratory meal for a small group. We were given a nice booth towards the rear of the restaurant. The restaurant was bigger than we were expecting - given the reputation i was wondering on good the food was going to be and we were not disappointed - the food was great. Oysters The rib for starters We shared these with the table just to whet the appetite and the ribs were so tender that even those who are keen on ribs were raving about them. For mains Bone in Rib to share £90 ish, 0.8kilo Ribeye 0.4 kilo Mushrooms Triple cooked chips Pigs blankets Lobster £35 ish 350 grams The chips were great, real triple cooked and did what they said on the tin. The steaks were perfectly cooked at Med-Rare - tender, tasty and melted in the mouth. The lobster was gorgeous and the garlic butter topped it off. We ended with dessert and had Sticky toffee sundae Peanut Butter Short Bread Chocolates All of them were consumed quickly and topped off a great meal. I recommend this for special occasions.

   Loved Air Street. Staff really friendly- food came quickly. Loved my rump steak. A shame hubby couldn't have Hake as sold out but he enjoyed the Dover Sole instead. Was a lovely gift from our son.

   Had the most amazing food today, it was all cooked to perfection, and the cocktails we had were fab - I had the reformed pornstar and it was completely different to what I was expecting but fresh and too easy to drink. Our hostess was lovely too! Can’t fault anything - thank you for a lovely lunch.

   The menu is very misleading - it says that Chateaubriand for two is £90 on the menu, however we ordered 2 as a group and were charged £135 for 1 and £125 for the other. The cuts were 750 & 800g. The staff didn’t mention this pricing discrepancy to us despite us saying that we’d like “2 of the Chateaubriand for two”. This left a sour taste in our mouths when paying the bill. It feels like this is intentionally misleading to upsell customers. I won’t be attending this steakhouse again, as there are many others in London such as Blacklock which do not engage in this predatory behavior

    We had a great time on our return to Hawksmoor. Food was as usual amazing and cooked perfectly. Our server Adtl (sorry if I’ve spelt this wrong) was knowledgable, prompt and friendly. We will be coming back soon! Sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever had.
