Disappointed that cheapest bottle on the red wine menu was €45

Fantastic dining experience, perfect for a treat or special occasion. Every morsel, from starter to melting steaks to tasty desserts was perfectly prepared A charming and warm server from Vancouver (can’t remember her name alas) added to the enjoyment, as did an epic Georgian red wine. Yes, it’s expensive, but for a memorable meal, it’s hard to beat.

Easy booking with Open Table which requested confirmation of attendance the day before. We were sat quite fast by a friendly lady staff. Beautiful place. We can’t help but take photos. Great, fast staff service. Thanks for greeting my son and for my making his dining experience a bit more special. by lighting up a birthday candle on top of his sundae on a plate with a “Happy Birthday” greetings. Not all fine restaurants pay attention to this but you did despite being in a very busy city and having us at a busy time. We also enjoyed having a 3-course meal and they were all amazing. The steak was perfectly medium rare by the way. Thanks!

My wife and I were in Dublin on our last night in Ireland and decided to have dinner at Hawksmoor. From the warm greeting upon our entry, through the superior service we received throughout our meal, their service was top notch. The food was equally outstanding. We started with the Bone Marrow with Onions (very good) and the Charcoal Roasted Butternut Squash (outstanding), and ended with the Chateaubriand (delish). For dessert, we (okay maybe it was just me) enjoyed the Sticky Toffee pudding. We would definitely come back again!

We had the Sunday roast. Food was quite cold. Beef thinly cut to disguise texture. Veg was hidden under the beef to give an aura of generosity

Had the Sunday roast which was full of flavour, roast veg, gravy all delicious. Chose medium rare for beef and it was cooked perfectly. Beef portion was two slices, I would have definitely liked another slice. Service was professional and friendly. Noise level of conversation is quite high, no music. Had the Black Forest pavlova for dessert, was delicious! Will definitely return.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit. While our server was friendly, the overall service was lacking. Upon arrival, we were left waiting for a considerable amount of time before our order was taken. At that point, we were informed that there would be a 40-minute wait for our main courses. I explained that my mother is diabetic and would need something sooner, and while the staff did provide some bread for the table, the delay was still inconvenient. When our meals (x4) arrived, both chicken dishes were lukewarm, as were the sides of cabbage and sweet potato. Additionally, I had informed our waiter that we were celebrating a birthday and requested a small acknowledgment on my son's dessert. While the waiter was pleasant about this, the dessert was ultimately brought out by another staff member in a rushed and unprofessional manner. A scoop of ice cream was placed in front of my son with a brief and unenthusiastic "Happy Birthday," and to our surprise, it was not the dessert he had ordered, yet we were charged for it. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, particularly given the occasion. While the staff were polite, the service and food quality were disappointing.
