The service was good but the steak was terrible. Pink in the middle with grey outsides a real indication of having been frozen. Brussels sprouts were cold and soggy Chips were nice.

We dined here for our one year wedding anniversary, all of the staff were very energetic and helpful. Any questions we had about the menu and drinks were quickly and clearly explained. We stayed on late after our meal as we had a later evening booking, again the staff were lovely and didn't rush us out the door while we finished our final drinks. Will definitely be coming back again next year.

The food was fabulous really enjoyed it, think we under ordered on the beef will know for again. The extra sides were small as they were between 3 people. Overall really enjoyed will defo go back again. The staff were lovely and friendly. The atmosphere was really nice and buzzing without being too loud. I would definitely recommend for friends to go 😊.

We were looking forward to a great pre Christmas family day out starting with lunch in Hawksmoor. Prior to the date I booked online with OpenTable and asked for the chef to accommodate a gluten free diet as I am coeliac. I called the restaurant the day before with a similar request. The girl on the phone was very helpful however she advised that she was not onsite but would make a note of my request. When we arrived 15 minutes early our table understandably was not ready so we had a drink before being called just after 1pm. Our server was a nice young guy however he was inexperienced and was not aware in advance of my gf request and had to go off to check what I could eat. The manager came over to the table he was abrupt and frankly unhelpful suggesting I choose anything that didn’t have the gluten allergy symbol on the menu. Usually in other restaurants my experience has been that some items on menu can be adapted to suit. Firstly I chose the scallops but then I was told they were not available any longer. The rest of the starter menu was very limited for gf. I settled on a crab salad minus the toast as they had no gf bread! When it arrived it was just flaked crab in a lettuce leaf with dressed leaves on the side. There was no dressing or sauce for the crab it was dry and not what you would expect in any restaurant. My main course to my relief was very nice and I enjoyed the Sunday roast. I didn’t have a dessert as my only choice was Pavlova or ice cream. I ordered a coffee and salted caramel rolos. I was then told they no longer had any rolos. Whilst I understand that there can be issues in restaurants with gluten free I really cannot understand how a restaurant like this could then justify charging us €350 for 4 people. Our bill included a bottle of Malbec and 2 glasses of Sauvignon Blanc 4 starters 1 Sirloin and 3 Sunday roast dinners followed by 2 desserts and 3 coffees. It was ridiculously expensive for lunch and not worth it unfortunately.

Overall a good experience. Main course was brought to the table before starters were finished. Instead of taking them back, it was put on the table. Timing not good. Had to ask twice for the coffee that was ordered. We did enjoy the food except for the oversized Yorkshire pudding which was very hard, a couple of small ones would've been much nicer. Probably will return to sample the rest of the menu.

Food and service were superb. The Sunday roast was a good portion and we were all well fed. The sticky toffee pudding is the best in Dublin.
