The service was amazing and the ambiance of the location was great! The fairmont’s interior is stunning so it’s so fun for a a restaurant to be located inside there and have the ability to enjoy it! We went for afternoon tea and they were able to cater to accommodations for dietary needs!

Me and my kids came today for a brunch, it was a wonderful brunch indeed. From the moment we entered the restaurant a warm welcome greet us by the wonderful staff. We were attended by Ms. Patricia, she was so lovely and she made sure everything is ok. The ambience was good, only the music is a little bit loud, but overall everything was superb. I highly recommend Hawthorn Restaurant in Fairmont Palliser Hotel to everyone who loves superb fine dining and a top notch service.

A lovely space and ambiance for a special evening! We ate a delicious meal, with first class service. A most memorable evening, thanks to all the staff - both in the kitchen and those who served us. What more can we say!

The charcuterie board was uninteresting and low quality. The meats seemed like they were from Costco and so did the cheese. I ordered a flat iron steak medium rare but it was overdone with no pink at all. The service was good, professional and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and a nice place for a romantic meal.

Overall, great experience. We had the dinner YYC EXP menu and left completely filled. The room felt very nice and was cozy without feeling opressive. A pretty solid first visit.

Our server Noemie was great—attentive, but gave us our privacy. Everything else was just fine. The potatoes were definitely just sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. Hollandaise was separating. Coffee was watery. Not to mention the furniture is falling apart. I was sorry to have this experience, since I’ve heard great things.

My wife and I second time to flute Friday but our first time with the whole family. Another amazing night with champagne all night and the Hawthorn signature experience in the bar area with live music. Service was attentive and made sure as soon as our champagne was done, another glass was ready. Food was on point but family unable to finish it all and had to take home with no issues Live music was enjoyable and entertaining Definitely be back again on flute Fridays
