   From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are transported into a complete atmosphere of southern charm. The restaurant is aesthetically GORGEOUS and the wait staff is very welcoming. The menu is outstanding and our meals were incredible.

   It was hard to eat because as soon as the food came out, so did the gnats. We ended up having to take our food to go and eat in the car. The service was great but even he said other tables had complained about the gnats. I probably won’t return just because if I’m going to drop money on food I expect to eat it without gnats swarming me. 🤮

   LaCantera San Antonio location is horrible. Went there this morning for brunch and had a horrible experience. Took 15 minutes to get a waiter to wait on us, and then he played the blame game. Ask to speak to a manger, and she apologized but refused to comp our meal. We ended up asking for the check and walked out without eating our food.

   Everything was fantastic. We did the shared board of 3 steaks with 4 sides. Had large format Caymus wine and felt wine by the bottle prices were more reasonable than most restaurants. Service was great.

   Whoever was in the kitchen baking the Valentines Day Cake….delicious! Put that on the main menu please! The food was so good as well as the service!!
