The food was delicious, plenty of perfumes, great flavor. My favorite was the crab dish with vermicili and the prawns with glass noodles. It is a must try!

Baan Mae is a lovely place to eat. It mixes the authentic Loatian palette with some American influences. Love the rotating menus and use of seasonal ingredients. Soulful, simplistic, and flavorful.

Went here with friends after reading the Washington Posts’s Tom Sietsema’s Fall 2024 review. Dined on the patio. Very relaxed and casual, friendly service. Food was fantastic in flavor and quality. We went on a slow early evening. 10/10 will go again.

Across two visits, I've tried 7 or 8 dishes, and they have uniformly been excellent. Highly recommend the curries, the ribs, and the jicama blossom salad, but it's hard to go wrong here. Love the laid-back vibes too.

Another delightful experience at tis restaurant. The smallish -- but sharable -- tapioca dumplings and chili wontons -- are a delight. Each of the sharable mains that I have experienced have felt like a return to Southeast Asia. No one who loves perfectly prepared South East Asian cuisine should pass up the opportunity to dine here. Service is cheerful and warm but unobtrusive, and all the servers seem to be well versed on the menu. Cocktails are original and refreshing. This is an experience not to be missed. Nothing posh but the food! Yummy!
