   We ate early… Around 315 330 so noise was not an issue. We also ate inside rather than outside as outside is quite noisy. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich and it was way too dry to eat. It took some time to alert the server, and have them redo the sandwich. They did redo the sandwich and it was significantly better. At one point, the service was so slow our party for decided we would probably not come back. However, they rectified the problems… They deducted the sandwich from the bill, and were most solicitous in checking the quality of the replacement. Everyone makes mistakes, and the way they are addressed is what counts. We left feeling very good about both the meal and the management. The server however, was marginal.

   We have eaten here for awhile, the service was great but the menu has changed and wasn’t good! Quality for price isn’t worth it.

   Very satisfied with The Hearth. Clean, interesting aesthetics. Great service. The menu has perfect variety. Food presentation and flavor were exactly as described and delicious. We were there twice in one week. Once with 3 of us eating on the outside deck. And once with our family group of 9 people. This included a vegetarian, two seniors, and two teenagers. All extremely satisfied.

   We love HEARTH. The food is always good, the staff are amazing and when the weather is nice the view from the patio can’t be beat!

   The Hearth and Pub restaurant is a neighborhood gem! The service, food and beautiful outdoor dining deck and view are all spectacular. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, casual dining experience.

   It's a lovely spot with a nice location. That said... No one likes to work on Labor Day. I sure didn't, when I worked in the industry for 2.5 decades. Still, it comes with the territory. I suspect that was the issue with our experience. The server was NOT into it. Maybe she is just generally egregious. Who is to say? But it cost my date and a a saw-buck to hang-out with her and, it was not worth the price of admission. In fact, instead of ordering dinner after a lame 45 minutes, we decided to leave, despite the fact that we drove there from another town specifically to go on a much needed date after OUR OWN long work week. We ordered an app that was supposed to come with pancetta and chives. It didn't. No big deal. But, when we told our server, she simply shrugged and stated, "Oh, yeah. We are out of that stuff" and walked away. Later, she asked us if we were "ready to order" a few times. We inquired after the "Special" that was advertised. She explained that they had lamb chops, and pointed to a supplemental menu on the table that reflected a different special, then said with some degree of irritation, "Oh, that is the menu from yesterday. It's not right." Other things happend (Or, didn't happen). We were going to order a steak and maybe the lamb. But, the cost of the two drinks we ordered, ( I don't bulk at $15 cocktails anymore. But, I think it is reasonable to expect that they be prepared well and in a pleasent environment) combined with the general lack of enthusiasm from everyone (other than the very nice hostess) and the mediocre food we DID try (Luke-warm truffle fries and deviled eggs) inspired us to go home and make a pizza of our own. Here's the thing, maybe we were there on an off night, the server had a bad day, etc. I understand. But, these days, when the compition is already fierce and prices are sky-rocketing, you can at least acknowledge that your patrons chose you and give them to satisfaction of paying attention.

    My co diner order a dinner fish taco that was suppose to come with lime crema which the kitchen did not have prepared. They failed to tell the waitress. They served it wh8ch my co diner d8d not find what she wanted. They should have told her that there was none. Buy the time they made it the food was cold.
