At Hemmingway's Bistro the menu combines classic French dishes with the freshest Midwest ingredients.
The daily specials reflect the chef's love for fresh seafood. Using mostly East-coast seafood flown in from Boston daily, the chef creates dishes like wild mushroom-crusted halibut on horseradish whipped potatoes and roasted sea bass on Caussoulet beans.
There is also a Parisian seafood bar offering towers of Plateau de Fruit de Mer with fresh oysters, clams, shrimp, and lobster.

Warm atmosphere, quiet, with nice and low music in the background. Service was good, present but not overpresent which is sometimes annoying. Food was very good and not expensive for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend.

The Sunday Jazz Brunch was wonderful with a buffet consisting of seafood, cheeses, meats and desserts. The buffet rivaled any that we have encountered anywhere in the quality and selection of items. It was also a great value since the buffet with a glass of champagne included cost than $50/person. A comparable buffet would have cost 50% more with possibly less quality. We will definitely be going back to Hemmingway's, not only for their brunch but for their regular meals as well. It's now our go-to restaurant!!

I came here for my sister’s birthday and I loved the vibe. Very cozy and intimate. The food was a bit overpriced but mostly very good. I got the beef Wellington but that was not the best. The service was very friendly but took a very long time bringing us our check.

I have friends who love this place. It has not been my experience. The food is mediocre at best and the prices are too high for average food. I won’t go back

I absolutely love this place. The food and service is top notched. If you think you will want one of there delicious soufflé for dessert order when you order your dinner, because they take one hour.

Fresh Oysters, lyonnaise salad, cocktails, soup du jour and steak frites were very good. The halibut was a little overcooked. And the chocolate mousse serving was a big glob—presentation looked odd, tasted fine. room temp was too warm. Our Server was very nice!
