A truly fabulous overall experience! Elevated but straightforward dishes, using locally sourced ingredients, in a truly spectacular setting surrounded by the stunning English countryside! Would highly recommend!!

Loved HERD soooooo much. Location was amazing,food was fantastic and service first class. I cannot emphasise just how much we enjoyed our visit to HERD. Was a perfect ending to a lovely holiday in the Cotswolds.

We enjoyed our visit to The Herd. We were early for our booking but no problems they fitted us in. The staff and overall service excellent. We had the roast beef dinner. A good range of veg, wonderful Yorkies, really tasty. The only thing we found was the beef was a little too pink and chewy, and the fat could have been cooked a little longer.

This place is outstanding whether it's for breakfast lunch or dinner the service is always greeted with a hello and a smile the food is some of the best we have ever eaten always tasty hot and portions are generous too, the menu changes fairly regularly, keep doing what your doing all thank you

Another fabulous Sunday lunch at Herd. This time we were celebrating a special birthday. Beautiful service, food and atmosphere. Special mention to the Angus beef roast. [We usually steer clear of ordering beef anywhere from the roast menu as it’s always highly disappointing: overcooked, grey and tough.] We decided on the beef at Herd this time. For once in my life I’ve been served a proper medium rare succulent beef Sunday roast! Delicious. And the bone marrow is the cherry on top 👌. Well done 👏.
