   I wish I could remember our waiter's name. He was outstanding! He was there when we needed him but could see we really wanted to catch up with each other and didn't interrupt. He apologized a couple of times for "the wait". We did not perceive any wait! He made great recommendations for wine and food. We decided to share a number of apps and all ordered custom flights. The meatballs are a must have as were the flatbreads! We appreciated that we were not rushed through our experience as we really enjoyed our time there. We'll be back!

   Lovely courtyard experience, good food and wine, convenient to the Lensic, all very nice! (Note to staff, “caprese” is not “caprice”)

   We were seated at a tiny table in the back of the restaurant even though larger tables were available throughout our meal. We had to remove the flowers to have enough room for our food. The meal was good. The service was dismal. Couldn’t get my water glass refilled couldn’t get the check. We finally walked to the front and waited to find someone to take our money. It was a Thursday night. Not crowded .

   Our first time to Herve Wine Bar but visited the Alamogordo and Las Cruces D.H. Lescombes locations. A nice location with a very professional staff. The food and drinks were excellent as normal. I would note that their menu is smaller than other locations but still plenty of choices and just as good. They were a bit understaffed but extremely professional and friendly. As locals we will be back.

    The restaurant was no more than 1/3 full and we sat there for over 10 minutes without a server coming to our table. No excuse for that so we got up and left. On the way out the manager and what looked to be a server were sitting at a table chatting about schedules and asked if everything was OK. Mot quote!
