Hospitality Heavyweight Scott Imlach has teamed up with Head Chef Sam Sheehan to bring a modern take on classic Asian street food to the Gold Coast. A staple in the local dining scene since early 2016, the laid back alfresco eatery has proven its timeless flavours to locals and guests alike.

Food is always incredible, bang bang chicken noodles are always my go to. The service was also fantastic. The waitress looking after our table was so attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

On another night perhaps my experience would have been different. But amongst the busy Friday me and my partner were served undercooked pork after waiting over 30 mins for our meal. I can understand the rush but sacrificing quality to put food on table in unacceptable. Our sides which were meant to accompany the mains came out well before leaving us picking at it and the food going cold. The value is there just execution ruined it all. I explained the undercooked pork to the waitress. At that point compensation is expected. Shouldn’t have made us pay for the food.

Hideaway was one of our favourite restaurants but after our experience on Wednesday night we won't be going back for a while. An hour and half hours after arriving we didn't have any food on our table. The food we ordered as entrees arrived after all the main food. By the time the food arrived I was so hungry I was feeling sick in the stomach. The excuse was they have a new system? What does that mean to a customer? We were extremely disappointed.

The food served were really good except the rice is not cooked well. I think it needs more water to cook the rice properly but overall good

Good menu offering (even though one of our favourite has been removed) with great flavours. We dined on a Saturday and understandably it was busy. Food is usually quick to come out once it starts, however this particular time there was a long delay with our main dish. As always, the drinks selection is top notch, definitely recommend the mango and jalapeño margarita!

The Valentine’s seven-course menu was good, except for the Pad See Ew—it was bad. The noodles were overcooked and didn’t taste like Pad See Ew. PS: We were seated at Table 25, and it was in a hot location.

The food came out very spaced out. Some of us at the table would be sting and some wouldn’t be, they would be waiting longer to receive their meals. When you did have food, it was enjoyable,
