   This was supposed to be a curated menu experience for V-Day. And, we sooooo wanted to support local business. But, at ~$125 per person, there was so much lacking. We arrived on time, only to be told we would need to wait for 30 mins to be seated. Once seated, the curated menu was lack luster (blah). I did not see anything across the 4-courses that screamed $125pp. More so, how do you have a menu without options for people with shellfish or other allergies?Additionally, the meal did not include any type of drink…lemonade, sweet tea, a glass of champagne…nada! It was so disappointing. After waiting for some time and only getting a glass of water, we decided to leave. Fortunately we were lucky enough to get a table at Sitti (old faithful) where we were greeted, seated, served warm bread, drinks, appetizers, dinner & dessert for ~&125 total. I’m glad we decided to leave because I could not imagine paying $250+ for dinner only to be disappointed. I was rooting for this place. You should also know that it is truly a bar. There were people with reservations being seated at the actual bar. How is that romantic for V-day? I hope if they try this again next year, there is better planning….including getting the frazzled hostess more help—she was struggling to keep it all together. 🤦🏽‍♀️

   Our time was pushed back a half hour. The bar was busy due to this so took 15 minutes to get a drink. The times were very slow for a prefixed dinner. Food was excellent. We ended up leaning before dessert as we were there over 2 hours.

   The service was terrible. We waited 45 mins to get our first drink and 40 mins for the second drink. The ambiance was amazing but unfortunately the service was absolutely awful.

   Impressive views usually means subpar restaurant and this was no exception. They need more bartenders because it took a good 20 minutes to get our drink orders. The cocktail I wanted wasn't available (Moment of Grace), and my second choice (High Rail AirMail) wasn't mixed very well- the middle tasted different than the first half. The cheese on the charcuterie board wasn't very good. The crab dip was soupy. My husband enjoyed his hanger steak but the fries were overcooked. Overall blah. I wouldn't go again. Our server was nice, albeit overstretched with many tables. Also, most other restaurants tell you about parking when you make a reservation on OpenTable. This one didn't say where parking was available - would've been helpful to know there was valet! AND the High Rail sign is on the corner of the building, but you have to enter through the hotel lobby to get to the 7th floor restaurant. It shouldn't be a secret!!! Especially to first time visitors who are new to the area. 😤 Waste of a night out.

   Wonderful dinner and cocktails. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and consistent. Love the shrimp and tuna stack small plates. Our server Sequoia was so friendly and fab. We highly recommend.

   High Rail is in the Hyatt House. The signage directs you to a door that is locked, so you have to go around the building to the Hyatt House entrance. The staff is attentive though some need to make a better attempt at not looking beaten down. The menu needs expansion. Some folks like whole sizable shrimp on their tacos others find that unworkable. The bar was fine but could use more imagination. The setting is great. In conclusion this place has great potential, needs to mature a bit, but with a few tweaks can become a go to destination.

    Fantastic communication in coordinating special events, bartender was pleasant, food was excellent, went opening weekend and scheduled a special gathering after and was not disappointed.
