   Overall it is a good place. The one thing that really get me is their pricing on the Cloudy Bay Sauv Blanc. It is priced at $74. A bottle. This is a $13 a bottle is you buy it at Safeway.

   I’m wondering if the couple who used to own this place sold it because it has really gone down hill. The food was awful. My boyfriend’s was cold and had to have it brought again and my bass was subpar at best. The best part was the appetizer calamari. Extremely disappointed in the meal and will not be returning. The server was nice though so nothing bad to say about her. When you spend that kind of money on a meal you expect quality food and never brought out cold for goodness sakes.

   My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary at high tide. First time dining here, it was highly recommended by friends. We loved it. Great food and service. It was a tad bit loud, but nothing out of the ordinary for a packed restaurant. We started with the warm sourdough bread, oysters rockefeller and crab cake. All were well prepared and tasty. My wife had the Chilean sea bass and I had fish and chips. Both entrees were very good. It was the best fish and chips that I’ve had. Perfect ratio of batter to fish. We’ll definitely be back. The one disappointing thing was the gumbo, it had a gravy like consistency, we were glad our server gave us a sample. We will be back!!!

   We go there frequently, but last night, it took almost an hour to get our food. Our waitress kept stopping by to tell us it would be out soon. After 40 minutes, she had the manager come over. We had not complained to her at all. She kept apologizing, and we reassured her we knew it wasn’t her fault. We told him it was almost an hour, he rudely told us the kitchen was 30 minutes behind. We watched people leave who were seated at the same time we were before we finally got our food. Food was good as always, but not worth the wait

   Our starters and main meals came at vs the same time. Half the meals were hot, while the others were only warm…. Food obviously had been sitting for a while. We are frequent visitors and normally the food is exceptionally, we really notice a difference this time.

   One person in our party was not happy with the crab he ordered. Said it was stringy and not “fresh”. Some other things but I was too far away to hear all said.

   Extremely loud. We had appetizer and soup, but waitress was too busy with other tables to adequate service us. Rather disappointed. So after soup. She did not show up for 20 minutes, so we left. Really disappointed. We were looking forward to the evening but ended up disappointed.
