   This was a very pleasant surprise. We started our meal with the beet salad and the ceviche and both were amazing !! The ingredients were sooo fresh and the combination of flavors were wonderful. The ceviche had many surprising ingredients, and all went well together. The salad had a slice of toast at the bottom which enhance the flavors. We followed with the Niman Ranch Babette and the red fish and decided to share both, and honestly the stake was prepared to perfection !! The fish was absolutely delish with a crust that sealed the juiciness of the fish. For dessert we had the chocolate cake, and the combination of candied pecans with blackberries, chocolate cake and chocolate muse were just the icing on the cake. We travel quite a bit and have tried mayny places, this place absolutely deserves 5 stars. The ambiance was perfect, no noise and the service was wonderful.

   We had a great time here. The food was delicious and our waiter was really nice and professional. The only critique we have is the time between the courses were a bit too long. Other than that, it was great! We’ll be back soon

   My family and I have been here several times. The food is OK. I think it’s a little overpriced. The service is always amazing. Wine by the glass list needs expanded in my opinion. They have the Hildee’s burger, but it’s off menu.

   I really wanted to like Hildee's on the Square because I liked them at their old location and I've heard the owners are solid people. But - everything was slow, with the food arriving 2 hours after we got there (1.5 hours after ordering), and it was dry and overcooked; most likely having sat under a heat lamp for quite a while. The waitress was friendly and apologetic, but didn't come around much (possibly embarrassed for the length of time everything took). For the sake of Wimberley, I hope things improve or they make way for a restaurant that represents the community well. The drinks and appetizers were good, albeit slow.

   The food was very good with the exception of the Caesar salad. We waited approximately 20 minutes for our drinks and another 30-45 minutes for our food.

   I like the new location. It is very upscale. The food and service were excellent as well. Everything was absolutely fresh.

    We always have an excellent if not outstanding dining experience at Hildees! The food is great and the portion sizes are generous. Chef Ryan is dedicated to a fine dining experience. The servers are very conscientious and knowledgeable. We have dined both indoors and on the patio and have never been disappointed. The kids menu also available pleased our picky eater granddaughter! Parking was easy.
