Excellent service in a very decorated chandeliered diningroom. The salads are very generously sized, everyone receives a small bowl of lentil soup and hot bread, the mocktails are really good( I had the coconut lemon “ painkiller “ and it was refreshing and not too sweet).

Very disappointed. They were overbooked . Took 20 min to sit us, even with reservations. Offered a two seat table to seat 3 with one seat in aisle. Turned it down and waited. Service took forever. They forgot our entree order. They asked if we were finished , cleared table unaware we still had not been served. Food was ok. Just ok. As stated before issue with entree. They were busy and it took one hour before they realized we were not served. All they can say was sorry. Extremely disappointed, I was looking forward to this meal.

This is a wonderful gem! The quality of food, service, and ambiance are one of a kind in our area. The restaurant was bustling with families, groups of friends, couples on dates, locals and out of towners. No detail was left unattended to by the staff. We can't wait to return with friends and family to share this beautiful restaurant and delicious food.

Hills of Herat is an outstanding Afghan restaurant. Our only reservation is that it is so loud. It is difficult to talk with your own table. It might help a bit if the music was a little softer.

Excellent cuisine for standard pricing, given price increases virtually everywhere. Very attentive staff, given venue was quite crowded. Highly recommended.
