   We visited tonight as it was 9 years since we first visited Hinnies. We still receive the same welcome and great food as we did 9 years ago.

   I have many food allergies and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. I chose an item that seemed fine, but the kitchen said the cooking stock contained tomatoes, would I like an alternative to the lentils? Very friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Relaxed, not 'posh' food, but a long way from pub grub. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.

   This has become our favourite in the area for lovely "modern British" food, cooked properly and served with a smile....WE LOVE IT!

   Excellent food today for a table of 3. Lovely choice of menu. Our party had the fish of the day which was exceptional followed by polenta cake. My 88 year old aunt loved the sole and crème brûlée. My son who absolutely adores eating out opted for 3 courses of fish cake then the beef which was melt in the mouth. To finish he tried the chocolate tart either sorbet. Would highly recommend, attentive service and good portion sizes. We will definitely be back.

    Great tasty food, well presented and very enjoyable - however the service was very much in your face, here is your hat, what is your hurry .... we felt that we were being rushed thru our stay on valentines night in a busy yet not over crowded restaurant.
