Known as one of the best scratch kitchens in the area, HogsHead offers guests fresh and innovative cuisine, along with Lowcountry staples like chicken & waffles and shrimp & grits, all with the best staff in town. Ask them to recommend their favorite handcrafted cocktail or expertly pair wine from the extensive by the glass or bottle list to complement your dinner.

The ever-present Chef/Owner and Philly native John Pashak has been nominated for four James Beard Awards in the Mid-Atlantic area. All the sauces, dressings, desserts and even focaccia bread are made daily from his handwritten recipes. Local fresh catch and filet specials are offered nightly along with the full menu which includes gluten-free options.

    Wow. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t let the name or location fool you, you will be very surprised. The dining area is upscale and food is outstanding. We had the potato chips with melted guyere cheese as an appetizer and it was delicious. Scallops were excellent and prepared in a unique way with fruit. We arrived a few minutes before our 6:30 reservation and glad we did because the restaurant filled up quickly. Great dinner!

    This is one of our favorites. Started off with the mushrooms over grits, striped bass and chicken parm specials. Delish food and ample portions. Wine list is small, but nice selection. Can’t go wrong here. Highly recommended.

    We had an amazing dinner with perfectly seasoned and prepared food. Everything was so flavorful and the quality and portions were so good. We brought along two first-time diners at Hogs Head and they loved it and will be a new favorite!
