   A group of four couples who don’t see each other often got together here for a holiday dinner. Two couples came from the city and two from the west ‘burbs. None of us are familiar with Oak Park, but we chose Hoja Santa due to the location being great to meet in the middle. We had a lot to drink and were very loud… someone even stopped by our table on her way out and said “please stop having so much fun!” :) The staff was great and the food was delicious! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees and had a fantastic family style meal. Thank you Hoja Santa for helping us celebrate the holidays!

   Calabaza app was delish; beet salad was very good but could have used more beet bits; bacalao dish was fantastic; scallops were tasty and huge ; it was a great experience. The flavors and dish combos were fascinating and tantalizing. Sadly the place was not crowded as it should be, since it is the very best restaurant in the area

   Had a very enjoyable dinner. The cocktails were very well made. The food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed the octopus appetizer, even our 5 and 10 year old daughters could not stop eating it. Will be back soon.

   We love the variety and flavor, both in cocktails and menu. We visit often because they have a kids menu, perfect for our toddler. She devoured their kids pizza and ice cream and for this reason the restaurant is one of our favs! The service people are attentive, kind and friendly. We're fans of the piñata cocktail, aguacate salad, calabaza, and the fish tacos. For dessert, the nieve frito is delicious.

    The standout was the yuca fries and the chimichurri-like sauce. Will be going back just for that dish. Also had the steak entree, which was splendid. Overall an enjoyable experience.
