   It’s been 15 years since we’ve been to Hollyhock Hill and we went last week for my wife’s birthday and were joined by extended family. We all had a great experience: the fried chicken and sides were as delicious and plentiful as we remembered. Good value for the three kids, too, with a set price for 5-12 year olds. Glad to see an old fashioned restaurant still doing well. We will definitely be back.

   As always best fried chicken around. It is just like eating at grandmas house.

   Restaurant was okay but needs updated. Price for a Chicken Dinner was way too high priced at $32.95. Service was okay but had to ask for items when staff should have seen the items needed refilled. Similar Family style restaurant in area Chicken Dinner was 24.95. I have gone to Hollyhock Hill the last 4 years for a Holiday Dinner. This will be my last.

   Hi!! We had Open Table reservations Tuesday night, Dec. 31st with Holly Hock Hill restaurant at 80th & N. College Ave. We walked in, & were seated immediately!! From then on the service was excellent, the food was excellent!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for GREAT food & service the entire time you are dining in!!    Our family of nine had dinner here. The food wAs both abundant and delicious. However, our server clearly had been assigned too many tables and was unable to provide us with the type of attentive service we had expected. But overall it was a good experience.

   Hollyhock Hill has lost its charm and costs too much today. Items once included are now a la carte items and expensive at that. Service is fine and responsive but the $33 per head for fried chicken and salad is way too much. The new ownership is non-existent and the restaurant is not as welcoming as it once was. A place that was known for needing reservations days and even weeks in advance can now accommodate walk-ins. And the parking lot is tight and prone to close calls and injuries. Many decades later, Hollyhock Hill tradition and ambiance are lost.

What was originally concern for the parking lot arrangement has bloomed into more. We genuinely appreciate your and your families' patronage throughout the years. Before the ownership, the parking lot did not have any lines painted. We worked with professionals to put in place the safest arrangement with the space we have. We do not have incidents often by any means, and this is the first comment we've had about the parking lot configuration. We hope you'll rethink visiting again in the future.    We've been coming to this restaurant for decades. Today we celebrated a birthday with our grandchildren and while there have been changes made, the service was excellent from our waiter, Bryson. Also we know what we're getting with this restaurant: quality food, plenty of it and all made with care. The kids love the variety and the homey atmosphere makes for a cozy meal. We are still loving the fried chicken, and will enjoy leftovers tomorrow!

    Hollyhock Hill is true gem! You cannot beat their fried chicken or chicken fingers. The service was very good. We had 6 people in our group and never had to ask for drink refills or anything else. Most of the meal choices include salad, rolls, apple butter, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, and ice cream sundae. I do recommend you get a reservation, as it is very popular.
