   Delicious and fun! The deviled eggs with lump crab, beet salad and shrimp & grits are outstanding - we will be back again.

   Good food. No draft beer cooler was broken down but no real problems. The shiplap on the walls didn’t look installed very well. The upper windows needed a good cleaning on the front of the building. Just things that caught my attention. If you expect to pay a little more you should not be distracted by the setting. But overall it was a nice evening. I’ve been around the restaurant industry most of my life and know it’s not easy to take care of a building. I eat out a couple times a week and probably notice thing’s other don’t but I know the management should know these things and do what they can to keep up the place.

   I’ve been to Honeywood multiple times but my most recent visit ruined it for me. I got the catfish plate, along with one of my friends, and the fish came out lukewarm and tough in texture. It tasted fine enough and the waiter seemed overwhelmed so we just ate as much of it as we wanted of it and didn’t cause a fuss. Unfortunately, we both ended up getting quite sick after, so I wish we had mentioned it. For the price point and reputation, customers shouldn’t be getting sick from your food.

   The atmosphere is very nice. Great for friends gathering or a more intimate occasion for two. The ceiling tall windows are really amazing. The appetizer of mussels was delicious, the sauce is some of the best I've had, and I've had a lot along the eastern coast. Our Old Fashion is highly recommended. The salad with mustard vinegarette is wonderful and available at half size, which is perfect with a large entree. Short rib is delicious with sauce and grits. Finished with Bourbon pecan pie and coffee, both so good!! The best part still was the amazing service. From second my party stepped inside until leaving, service was top notch. Our waitress, MIreya, was attentive without interrupting the table conversation, reacted to all needs before anyone could ask, and was super friendly on top of just being excellent at her job.

   Honeywood never disappoints! From service to food everything was fantastic! The Deviled eggs with lump crab was divine and the Steak Diane cooked perfectly. The Wise Bird cider parings were an excellent addition. 10/10!

   My Dad is in town from Florida and I got to share this special restaurant with him. From the green tomato app to a delicious salad and coconut cream pie, he was smiling from ear to ear!
