All reservations must be confirmed by phone 24 hours in advance. The hotel is open year round, providing customized packages and personalized services offered up by the innkeepers themselves. With an ever-changing menu, Chef/owner Karen Mersereau and partner, Gerard Paulin, 3rd generation owner, offer farm to table cuisine using fresh-local, wild foods from New Brunswick. Karen offers chef-guided culinary vacations, food & wine tours, cooking classes where guests forage for wild foods later to be used for dinner. A fully licensed dining room and sommelier-selected wines are all features of this hotel. In-room spa services and private meeting spaces make this property a perfect venue for romance, weddings, special events and meetings.

    Marvellous dinner experience! I booked on Open Table after seeing some positive reviews. I was impressed the next morning, when chef (and co-operator of the hotel) Karen called me to go over menu options and my preferences. When I showed up at the appointed time, I learned from the server/host Anthony that I would be the only dinner guest. Which meant that I had exceptional, warm, thoughtful service. Began in the lounge with a glass of wine (well-selected wine list); moved on to the charming dining room to eat. Meal began with a cold gazpacho-type soup, slightly piquant with some shrimp. Went on at a comfortable pace to the main course: locally-farmed Arctic char, stuffed with smoked salmon; sautéed scallops; roasted potatoes and veg. Dessert of sponge cake with peaches and local blueberries, with a dollop of ice cream. Best meal in Caraquet! Highly recommended.

    Found this restaurant by chance burning a business trip. The food was prepared to order and made form the freshes ingredients. The owners are also the chef and service staff. WOuld highly recommend, but not if you are in a hurry. Made for a very relaxing evening.
