Interesting variety on the menu. Food was very good although the curry was not hot in temperature or spiciness. Quiet and elegant surroundings.

My partner and I were visiting his daughter in Launceston and we really struggled to find a restaurant in the period so aptly titled the festive perineum. I used trip advisor to search for the quality places to dine and although Diverge landed 12th on the listing, it had received rave reviews in the previous two weeks, so we booked. The food was outstanding with a genuine focus on Tasmanian produce, wine and sparkling wine. Staff were fun and generous with their time with all patrons. This place is a sleeping giant. Don’t be put off that it’s attached to a hotel. It’s good!!! Really bloody good!!!

We had a lovely meal on Christmas night at Diverge. Everything was perfect. The food, service & the ambience, this restaurant had it all. We were particularly impressed with the service we received. Wish we had a restaurant like this in our Local area. We will definitely visit next time we’re in town.

Very good quality, fresh and local produce in a casual and modern style. It was lovely to try somewhere new. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend this place to visitors and we will come again. A lovely restaurant on all accounts, thank you & well done.

A monthly gathering at Diverge is such a treat. The restaurant has a calm and gentle feel for the customers. The food is delicious and the staff attentive and discrete.

We recently heard about this hidden gem..We were not disappointed!The quality of food service and general presentation was superb!!Would have to be the best in town,compliments to all the staff and especially the chef.This was an outstanding venue especially compared to the long list of others we have visited in Launceston.Sorry guys (and girls) we intend keeping the place a secret (except for close friends) as we don't want it to become overcrowded and noisy.An exceptional night out and very reasonably priced...we'll be back!!!
