House of Lasagna's warm décor--amber walls and colorful framed poster art--provides a handsome showcase for some of Midtown most value-packed trattoria dishes. The Lasagna Bolognese, for instance, is $25 and Pan Seared Salmon the most expensive entree at $32. Neighborhood business clientele, local residents and travelers from nearby hotels and have keep this place hummming for 40 years.

Quaint little restaurant with exceptional food. The lasagna was unique, flavorful and excellent. I ordered the lamb, shiitake mushroom and ricotta cheese lasagna, which delivered the unique and extremely tasty experience, I was looking for. My husband ordered the chefs special of the day, sausage lasagna in marinara sauce, which he also was quite impressed with. The hostess was so friendly and knowledgeable, not only on the menu, but also a delight to meet at our first night in New York. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quality tasteful Italian food experience.

Host was friendly and helpful. We got a nice quiet table upstairs which is what we wanted. The food was soooo good. The pasta melted in your mouth and the sauces were so savory that I wanted to wipe the plate clean with bread. I am definitely going back!

A great experience and value. Just around the corner from The Renwick (where we stayed and another gem). We liked it so much, when we couldn't get into other restaurants nearby, we returned for a second night and it was just as good. Only 10 or 11 tables but separated enough to be cozy and romantic. We had a lasagna with layers of spinach, a fuscilli pasta with sausage and a pesto fettuccini with shrimp special. The Caesar salad was also great. The house red is good. Prices amazingly reasonable for NYC.

Party of 5 and one was a 12 year old. First time here and we loved it. The 5 of us have been to Italy multiple times and know Italian food. This was very good and quite reasonable. I have already recommended it to a few Lasagna lovers I know!

This restaurant is an absolute delight! The staff is fantastic, and the food is both authentic and delicious. A special shout-out to the incredible hostess—I’m disappointed I can’t remember her name, but she’s from the Dominican Republic, and her warm personality truly made the experience memorable.
