The term ‘hovarda’, which is used in both Turkish and Greek, playfully references a generous host with a free spirit, reflected on the interiors designed by award-winning Lázaro Rosa-Violan. The space features a large open kitchen and counter dining overlooking the open fire grills. Hovarda is a premier music destination in London. Artists such as Birds of Mind and Valeron coming from all around the globe play electronic, Deep Tech, Bedouin Tech influenced mostly nourished organic sounds, ancient chants and tribal beats.

Hovarda travels you to the Aegean coasts through its luxe first floor cocktail bar and ground floor restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday. With an emphasis on seafood, the restaurant features a daily-changing menu determined by what the day boats catch each day from around the British Isles, alongside a more extensive Aegean- inspired menu. Service was very slow and unhelpful. The atmosphere is ok but very young crowd, boarder line teenagers. Food is good overall. Not fan of the place overall.

The rude waiter gave away half of our bottle our wine and charged us for it. Tried to make us leave after an hour and a half and said we drank all our wine. When questioned he began to argue with us and said he could charge us for the wine we hadn't drunk???? Got a glass of wine after speaking to the manager but it was not managed well at all. Would not recommend at all

We had the pleasure of dining here on the last night of mixed groups of 6. We had a lovely dinner. The lamb could do with some sauce but service cocktails and ambience is second to none. Can’t wait to return

Not to be rude but - if I knew we had only 2 hours to sit and enjoy our table - I wouldn’t have booked it at 6.30 - which was the latest available booking

Horrific service, food pretty average and staff who think way too high of themselves, rude from the beginning to the end. Price wise very average for a decent restaurant in London.
