   New Year's Eve at Hudson Co and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and especially the view of Manhattan, which is fantastic. The food was very well seasoned and I highlight the excellent service from Waitress Joana.

   Overpriced food. Shrimp “salat” with only one leaf. Lobster soup way to sweet. Strip steaks were cold and needed salt. Main course came to early, so we were not done with starters. The dishes were just placed on the table before removing the starter dishes - only when we asked the personal to remove it, it were removed. After main course were served we had very little service rest of the evening. They finished of by giving us a fixed tip at 20% on the bill, with no ability to change it(120$….). Overall a night of 650$ for 4 people…. Way to expensive !

   We booked for NYE and were told about the 140 pp rule, which was fine. We get to the restaurant and they tell us there is also a 2 hour dining limit which I didn't know when they called to confirm. No mention of this. But that was fine, we said we would move over to the bar area if they needed the table. I was looking forward to having the champagne toast. We order our starters at which the point the waitress says we have to put our whole order in and the kitchen will time it out. Well, when we get our apps, 10 minutes later our main course comes and we are still working on our apps. Now there is no room at the table. When I finally go to eat my main, the vegetables are raw to the point where I can't even cut them with a knife. Our nice waitress sends it back only to have the vegetables still raw. None these less I boxed up my main course and took it home. Very expensive for the value and rushing of the food to come up. We were finished and getting dessert within the hour of being there.

   Our server was very nice and attentive, the view is amazing the food was good not amazing. But overall I had a wonderful time.

   The food was delicious, we had 18 people in our party, and all were extremely pleased with their meals! Our server Joana and her support staff were attentive but not overbearing! A perfect amount of attention!!

   Ashely was an amazing server. Super knowledgeable about the menu. The tomahawk was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My husband asked for béarnaise sauce and they made it for him even though it was not listed on the menu. The Mac and cheese and truffle tots were also flavorful and delicious. I had a specialty spritz (forget the name) and hubby had his standard martini - dirty, dry, 5 olives) which were also smooth and refreshing. Crème brûlée for dessert. They even put a candle in for my husbands 40th. Bill was reasonable - as we are from LI, and the prices are usually higher. The VIEW!!!! OMG 😳 I asked for a table with a view and they did not disappoint. From start to finish we were impressed! Can’t thank them enough for a wonderful experience!

   Went there for drinks after work and was very impressed with drinks and apps so made a team holiday lunch reservation. Took a long time for food to arrive. Sat us at a table that was too small for the group, when asked to move or add a two top to our table we were told there were reservations and couldn’t be accommodated. No tables were sat in the entire section during the course of our time there. Will come again for happy hour but not lunch.

    Vest busy during happy hour when we visited. Great views of Manhattan NY ,inside or outdoors. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good value overall.
