Hudson and Essex is the premier restaurant of Mansfield’s rustbelt revitalization. Our sleek elegant space showcases a distinctive menu featuring local purveyors and wine from our own Cypress Hill Winery. Our menu changes with the seasons to keep our food fresh while keeping the customer favorites available all year.

Cypress Hill Winery is a boutique winery located beneath Hudson & Essex in the Carousel District of Mansfield, Ohio that remains loyal to the passion and the art of California wine. Family, friends (new and old), connoisseurs and novices alike are welcome. Join us! We look forward to meeting you.

For parties of 8 or more, we do require you to call in to the restaurant as we would need to make sure that we have enough tables available to accommodate you. Wonderful meal and service. We met friends from Cleveland. We’re from Columbus, and this will be our new fav meetup spot with them. Very appreciative of the vegan meal they put together for my husband. Great wine.

Hudson & Essex is a high end restaurant with attentive staff & unique drinks and food. The wait staff helps each other out & you can see the comradery that exists between the servers. It's a terrific atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. In addition to typical filet, chicken dish, etc. there is always something new to try. We had a beef tartare and salmon poke & both were fabulous. In addition to the barrel aged Manhattan, there are always new drinks on the menu to try. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink, app, or meal!

Great half way point between Columbus and Cleveland for meeting family over the holidays. The ambience and food was great, They also have 3 different dining options to choose from...
