   Went understanding it is expensive but felt very poor value for money. Staff courteous but “not on the job”…. Dessert offerings (two tables located distant from each other) very limited and did not include basics such as fruit salad and whipping cream. Similarly the food locations were also distant from each other. I understand it is a temporary location while a Reno is going on but it is def. not an experience I (or our guests) would recommend.

   Christmas Day Brunch not good this year. Food was sitting outside in heat. Not many options. Overpriced.

   Our family attended the Christmas brunch. The experience was similar to a cruise ship. The food quality was very average and the service was very limited - saying it nicely.

   Had an incredible experience for Christmas Eve. The wait staff made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Different staff stopped by to check on us and even asked if we liked the bottle of wine, then gave us some insight. Very attentive. Our server was Stephanie and she chatted with us like we were friends. Amazing time!

   Grand wailea tries to nickel and dime you for everything without providing a solid experience. They wanted $35 per person for you to get a table closer to the water. We declined and they tried to sit us in the bar for dinner with basically a coffee table for our meal. The dining room was empty. We noticed most diners came for appetizers or ordered entrees only due to the steep prices. I’m fine with paying for expensive meals but usually the food and service and experience make it worthwhile. Food was ok at best, nothing special about service. Such shame because this restaurant used to be the fine dining experience you planned for a now it’s just an overpriced average restaurant. Better off walking to another nearby hotel and eating there.

    Arrived and first thing Valet was rise and had an attitude. The resort feels run down, outdated, feels like you’re at Disney World. The service at the restaurant was good, excellent server and beautiful view, but the prices were unbelievably outrageous for the food. The food was just average. I assume that’s one reason they don’t share the prices on their website menu. Some guy in the lobby was acting erratically, seemed to definitely be under the influence of something more than alcohol, and was waving hand signals to us as he walked by, which left our youngest feeling pretty uneasy. Took about a half an hour wait to get our car back from valet on the way out. Would not go back, do not recommend.
