   If you’re in the mood for a delicious, Italian meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a slightly bumpy service experience, though it’s certainly not enough to detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Definitely will be back for the food alone!

   Really nice restaurant with incredible food. Food beautifully presented and flavorful. Prime strip was as good as I have had. Wife had risotto, she loved it. Ask for corner booth.

   It was our 25th anniversary and we had such a beautiful evening. It’s such a beautiful restaurant. We started with the Amatriciana. It was so delicious that I ate slowly to savor every bite. We split the Sea Bass it was the best dish I have ever had. It was a beautiful evening. I highly recommend Il Bel Lago for that special evening.

   Updated Review 11/18/2024: I received a phone call from Carmelo, one of the owners, within 40 minutes of my review. He explained the situation regarding the service level, bad night for our server, but Carmelo said it should not have happened. I agreed. He promptly asked if he could offer a refund or gift card regardless if I returned to their restaurant. I provided my CC info and received a refund for my dinner within a week of our conversation. This says a lot about the restaurant and their character. Since I gave glowing review for our first visit, it is safe to say this was not the norm. We appreciated the gesture. 11/6/2024: Not happy with our experience. First visit was very nice, which prompted our decision to return for our 25th Anniversary. We will not return. Bar was loud, not because people but from the constant banging of bottles, refrigerator doors and other things. The bartender works very hard, but think the noise level could be reduced even if they are showing how hard they are working. The host new it was our 25th anniversary and we did get a booth as we had requested, but apparently the waiter was not informed. When he arrived, he noticed I had a drink and that my wife had ordered a bottle of wine from the bar. It was not her intention, but at $28 a glass for wine, it made more sense to buy the bottle. The waiter looked to be agitated, as if he was not happy he would not be making his tip on the drinks. Not a good way to start. He was disinterested the rest of the meal, as if he had other places to be. It was 7:30 not like we arrived at 9pm. Food was fine, but due to the experience, we wrapped up our dinner and left. The whole experience felt like I was in my 20's again at a nice restaurant with a staff that felt I was too young to be able to afford the dinner.

   First time and will definitely not be our last. Enjoyed having a tablecloth and nice china in an attract room. Food was delicious and very good wine list.

   Seafood risotto was not a good dish tonight. My friend and I both ordered it. It tasted like bad fish.

    Fantastic experience tonight at IL Bel Lago. Everyone our foursome enjoyed the experience. My Veal Saltimbocca was excellent - best I have had years. The meat ball appetizer shared by the table was also spectacular. My wife enjoyed one of their signature dishes - the President’s Bowtie Pasta - served to President Reagan
