    Unbelievable staff and food! Shawn and King at the chefs counter made for an incredible night and our waiter Eric was amazing as well. We’ve never had such an interactive and vibrant experience from a restaurant. This is a must go to spot

    Did I just have a.... religious experience? I will think about that fried artichoke for the rest of forever. We also had the Suppli Ragu which was crunchy on the outside and soft pillowy cheesy goodness on the inside. The crispy mushrooms on the Bosciaola pizza were a revelation, the mortadella panino was also very good. Our server recommended the Tagliatelle with its "warm winter spices" and it was spot on. The crispy guanciale in the Amatriciana was so tasty. We finished with the pistachio gelato and the cherry sorbet. The gelato was buttery, nutty perfection and the sorbet was like the perfect distillation of a sour cherry pie. Outstanding food! The decor is a little boring/generic but that doesn't usually matter to us so much. I also thought the prices were a smidge high for certain pasta dishes. Also where is the pasta alla gricia?! Seems like an important addition to a very Roman menu. Overall, loved it! Highly recommend.

    Disappointing experience! Other Joe Flamm restaurant experiences have been innovative and unique. This was standard Italian fare you could get anywhere.

    Great food and service. Only disappointments were the carbonara (way too salty) and the zabione e berries (a bit too runny). Look forward to going back to try more dishes.

    I lived in Rome for a period of time and Il Carciofo does Roman cuisine more than justice. It was fabulous and I can't wait to go back!

    The lamb ribs were inedible. The Cacio Pepe was very good, as were the halibut and the pistachio ice cream.
