   Alex was great! My lasagna was excellent, but husband's steak was not so good. He asked for medium rare and parts of the steak were rare. Very uneven cooking with lack of seasoning. Probably should've stuck to Italian dishes instead of specials. Alex was very apologetic about the steak. Dessert helped end the dinner because we loved the affogato and gelato. The dark chocolate was so good!!! Thank you for the birthday card and extra dessert!

   Everything we experienced last night, to celebrate my birthday, was outstanding! The staff was alert and quick, the food excellent, and I appreciated their presenting me with a birthday card and complimentary dessert. Il Fornaio remains one of my favorite places to dine!--author Donna Del Oro

   Il Fornio is always a special place to dine, but today I took client friends for lunch and the hostess seated us in the main dining room which was lovely. The food is always delicious - we had the butternut squash, bolognese (which my husband ordered every time) and salad with salmon. All delicious. Our server was gracious and friendly and brought a desert treat to top it off as it was a special occasion. Thank you. We will be back.

   We enjoyed a great dinner to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The staff was really sweet and accommodating. They even signed a birthday card from their staff for my mom. It was a great time.

    I had the E Pollo, and the chicken did a quick run through the pasta. I counted 7 little pieces of chicken the size of a quarter. Very disappointing. I brought a table of 8 to celebrate my wife's birthday. She and my daughter had salmon, and it was overcooked. We won't be returning anytime soon...or ever.
