   It's great to see a restaurant at the Waverly again and this one will surely last. It reminded me of Adrianna's in New Haven. Portions were humungous and the quality and service were excellent. I had fettucini w/peas, prosciutto and mushrooms in a scrumptious cream sauce. My sister had braised short ribs over mashed potatoes and asparagus and my husband had two large breaded pork chops that were not thin sliced at all as listed in the menu. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more things since the menu had quite a nice variety of dishes.

   Food was great. Bar area had a great vibe. Service was a little slow but they had several holiday parties happening, so it is to be understood. All in all a great new spot

   Loved the food but the noise was incredible. I won’t go back until they add some noise absorbers. We couldn’t have a conversation. The food was delicious, though.

   2nd time here. Food is good menu has great selections and good specials it’s a nice addition to the town. I just wish the service was good it’s just not there. They start off good getting your drink and food order then as you wait for your food no one comes back to check if you need a drink refill or are doing ok. Too forever to get another drink, the check and then the check to be paid. If they get their service up I think this will be a great restaurant. The poor service almost makes it a deal breaker.

   Another great meal there. Food was delicious and portions are huge. Great value. The owners are lovely, very personable, and the staff are very hardworking and were very attentive. Ordered the orrecheta with sausage and broccoli rabe and the salmon special was out of sight. Ordered squash blossoms to go to try next day and the were also delicious. The history in there brings back great memories of the Waverly. Il Gusto is a wonderful addition to Cheshire and very much so needed.

   Food was awesome. A bit noisy for me on a Saturday night. Went mid week and it was fine. Service was very good.

   The attentive staff and delicious fare was perfect for an evening with my sister. I very much appreciated the variety of seating available. Booth, bar, high tops & round tables were all available.

   Large portions of food. Consistent quality. Attention to detail from wait staff can be better. Appetizer and bread plates should be cleared before entrees are served.

    really disappointed Adriana‘s is our favorite restaurants in New Haven. The only thing that was close to Adriana‘s was the size of the plates .The service was excelant, food was ok. Caesar salad taste nothing like a Caesar salad. Fish was good. Lamb chops were OK. All in all the food could use a lot more flavor.
